Dietary supplements are not intended to compensate for an unhealthy diet. They should always be used as a supplement to a varied and balanced diet.

Almost everyone needs extra vitamin D

In the Netherlands, the sun is only bright enough to provide the skin with its radiation needs for five months a year. D3 supplementation therefore seems to be a necessity rather than a luxury for every Dutch person, especially in the dark months. Moreover, the health-promoting effects of vitamin D3 are endless.*

Vitamin D3 has a positive effect on the immune system*

The sun vitamin ensures increased calcium absorption in the bones, is good for the cell division process and the muscles.* In addition, the vitamin produced in our skin has a positive effect on our immune system and ensures the maintenance of strong bones.*

Best absorbable forms D and K2

Vitamin D promotes the absorption of calcium.* However, this can have a problematic effect when high doses of vitamin D supplementation (from 75 mcg) are required to achieve a specific health-promoting effect.

The sun vitamin ensures increased calcium absorption, but does not regulate where all that extra calcium ends up. This can lead to unwanted calcium deposits in the kidneys and blood vessels. This is where blood brother vitamin K2 comes into the picture. This calcium distributor ensures the absorption of calcium in the bone tissue, the place where the mineral is needed.*

Sunflower oil more suitable than olive oil

Olive oil is healthier for baking and frying than sunflower oil. However, the daily dose of Vitamin D3 & K2 contains two drops of sunflower oil; a negligible amount. So we can also claim few health benefits from the carrier substance in this product.

K2 evenly distributed in sunflower oil as carrier

Independent research also shows that vitamin K2 settles somewhat in olive oil. This means that the K2 is less evenly distributed over the bottle; one daily dose will contain slightly more vitamin K2 than the other. A problem can be solved by taking sunflower oil as a carrier. In this liquid, the K2 does not settle, which means that we can guarantee an equal amount of K2 in every drop of Vitamin D3 & K2!

High dosage of 62.50 µg

Vitamin D3 & K2 from Vitakruid is the leading product for the disturbed balance. The high dosage of vitamin D3 in this formulation (62.50 µg, per standard dosage of two drops) makes it possible to quickly bring your vitamin D balance into balance.
