Loveli Conditioner Dry & Damaged Hair

Loveli Conditioner Dry & Damaged Hair is packed with nutrients and silicone-free. Dry and damaged hair is nourished and protected, leaving it silky-soft.

♥ Packed with ingredients that truly nourish your hair

♥ Can be used as a leave-in or rinse-out

♥ Makes your hair super soft, without silicones

Did you know that almost all hair conditioners contain silicone? It can fill in damaged areas in your hair, making it soft and manageable. And it's a super cheap ingredient, too, because it's made from petroleum. Yep, petroleum. And that's the problem with silicone: it's essentially liquid plastic you're applying to your hair. With zero nutrients. So instead of nourishing your dry and damaged hair, you're actually coating it with plastic. And again with the next wash, because silicone builds up and weighs your hair down.

Silicones are not only difficult to wash out of your hair, they're also difficult to filter from wastewater. They're microplastics that eventually end up in the ocean's plastic soup. So, no silicone for Loveli!

Why I am a fan of Loveli

I'm a fan of Loveli because the brand is transparent about its ingredients and because the formulas are often designed to cosmetically care for the hair without the "filmy feeling" you sometimes experience with some conditioners. I also appreciate that the usage instructions are clear; you know exactly how to use it as a leave-in or rinse-out, without vague promises.

Does Loveli Conditioner Dry & Damaged Hair have a negative effect on your hormones?

Based on the ingredients list, I see no indication that this product has a negative effect on hormones when used normally.

What can Loveli Conditioner Dry & Damaged Hair do for you?

This product can help you make dry and damaged hair softer and more combable.

You can use it as a rinse-out when your hair quickly becomes heavy.

Or as a leave-in when you want extra protection and want to use less product.

Who might Loveli Conditioner Dry & Damaged Hair be suitable for?

  • For you if you have dry, frizzy or damaged hair and you prefer not to use silicones.
  • For you if you love a fresh citrus scent experience and generally respond well to it.
  • For you if you're looking for a conditioner that you can use either rinse-out or leave-in, depending on your hair and your day.

When extra caution is appropriate

  • If your scalp is sensitive, or if you know you react quickly to perfume or essential oils.
  • If you have previously experienced complaints from products containing limonene, linalool, or citral, these are fragrance allergens that are also listed here in the INCI.
  • My practical advice is: start with rinse-out, use a small amount, and apply mainly to the lengths and ends.

What this product doesn't promise

This conditioner is not a solution for menopausal symptoms and it does not promise to influence or balance your hormones.

What it can do is make your hair care more pleasant, with a softer feel, better combability and less frizz, depending on your hair and your sensitivity.

Usage

  • Using the conditioner as a leave-in? Use a small amount the size of a hazelnut (and no more) and distribute it through towel-dried hair. Don't rinse. Then dry and style your hair as usual.
  • Using the conditioner as a rinse-out? Apply the conditioner to clean, damp hair. Let it sit for a few moments, then rinse.
  • The Loveli Conditioner can of course be perfectly combined with the Loveli Shampoo Dry & Damaged Hair.

Good to know

  • We recommend not using the conditioner for children under 5 years old due to the added essential oils. Children have thinner skin than adults and may be sensitive to essential oils.
  • Do you have a sensitive scalp? Try spraying the Loveli Face Mist on your scalp. It helps restore your scalp's pH balance.
  • Want to know if your current conditioner contains silicone or other microplastics? Check the Beat the Microbead app.
  • If your current conditioner contains a lot of silicone, it may take a while for all the silicone to be washed out of your hair and for the nutrients in the Loveli Conditioner to work optimally.
  • The Dry & Damaged Hair Conditioner features the Sunny Orange scent, made with orange and lemon essential oils and a touch of vanilla. The conditioner is made with 100% natural ingredients, and you might even smell it.
